Another Fishing Trip with the Nephews!
Around 2005 four of my six nephews came to my home near Bayview Idaho to fish for trout. At about 8 AM we launched our boat from my dock. It was a sunny, beautiful summer morning. After setting out our lines we began trolling south towards what’s called the slide area. A few minutes later the small bird comes and lands on the stern of our boat. We were surprised but just watched the small bird. For about five or six minutes this bird walked around the perimeter of the boat and on the arms and shoulders of me and my nephews. We all sat quietly and enjoyed this very unusual gift. Shortly afterwards the bird flew up and one of our reels started screaming. We scrambled to get the other lines in, and Creighton reeled in a 5 pound plus rainbow trout. Wow what a gift. We reset the lines and continued trolling south then east then north for 3 or 4 hours. Each nephew loaded a five pound plus fish! Luck bird? A great memory and blessing, Harry!
