Bird landing on Mike.
In 2019 I was attending an early morning meeting with many of my friends. As I entered the club’s south doorway a friend pointed out a small bird walking around in the grass near the entrance. My friend Jeff asked “what should we do with this bird”? I responded “let’s just leave it alone for now”. I go into the meeting hall and sit at one of the tables at the north or back end of the club. A few minutes later the bird flies into the club and lands on Mike’s shoulder. I grab for my cell phone to get a picture. Before I could take the picture the bird flies towards me and lands on a man’s head, Mikes, son. I snap a photo of the bird on the man’s head. A friend walks up to the bird and extends her hand attempting to carry the bird to safety. The bird flies from the son’s head out of the building. I got a blurry photo of the bird leaving his perch. After the meeting I discovered that Mike’s wife had just passed away the Saturday night before this meeting. Mike’s son was here to be with his dad and mom during her passing. Coincidence or divine expression? Very grateful to be there for this sad but beautiful occurrence. With love and respect, Harry
